As seen on teevee and now available on the worldwideweb, it's K-tel Classics. A website documenting the endless budget releases of K-tel Records. Featuring all the hits and then some, compressed and squeezed to fit an unbelievable number of tunes onto every thin side of vinyl. The 70s salvation of many a kid who wanted the hits but didn't have the cash. I have one K-tel platter in the current collection: 1974's Dynamic Sound. Along with such expected tracks as BTO's Let It Ride and the DeFranco Family's Heartbeat - It's A Lovebeat, you get cool grooves like James Brown's The Payback - Part 1, The Incredible Bongo Band's Bongo Rock and The Chi-Lites' Stoned Out Of My Mind. Those K-Tel compilers threw some good stuff into those playlists.
