Here's a link that will be popping up all over, I'd imagine, but it's a good one. An industrious soul is posting The Diary of Samuel Pepys as a weblog, using the medium to add handy footnotes (both on-page and links) and annotations. It just started off with the January 1, 1660 entry -- so it's a good time to get on board. Who was Samuel Pepys? He was a 17th century Londoner and administrator, now famous for the diaries he maintained through the 1660s.
