And now Joe's been taken away, while countless unspeakable bastards continue to walk the earth. #@$%!
I've been working my way through my old Clash records the last couple of days, and damn, they were good. I must admit, I still can't understand half of the lyrics, but nowadays we've got websites to cure that problem. Over the years, I came to think of Joe as the Woody Guthrie of the electric era. Sadly, gone now, when we need guys like that more than ever. Thanks Joe, for the determination, commitment and mule-headed stubbornness -- it was appreciated and a great example.
I can't really think of clever prose to weave these links into, so here's a raw listing. The sites hosted at freebie operations are tending to be down for exceeding their bandwidth these last couple of days.
